VT18 – Embed Video on Your Website – EASY!

Video Transcript – Introduction

A PDF download can give an introduction to your ministry, but sometimes you need to share a video of your ministry to really convey the heart.

I’m Steve Dwire, founder of Edify Hub, and on today’s Video Tip, I’ll show you how to embed a YouTube video on the information page of your website.

Add or Edit the page

We’ll pick up where we left off last time, with a new Ministry Info page. I want to change it to add a video immediately underneath “Download my Ministry Information Packet.”

We’ll come up to the top. Click “Edit Page”, and here is the existing text. Put my cursor at the end. Add a new line.

And now I just want to add the video right here. It’s really quite simple.

Paste the Video URL

I’m going to come over to a new tab where I actually have my YouTube video that I want to embed. If I come up to the address bar, all I have to do is copy this URL. Copy that. Then come back to the tab. If I simply paste the URL directly into the page, my video gets added right there. I hit Update.

And now if we come back and view the page, there’s my ministry video directly in the page.

I’ll pause that.

And the same process works whether it’s hosted on YouTube, or Vimeo or many other different places where you can host videos.

Take Action

If you really want to share the heart of your ministry, embed a video into your Ministry Information page.
