Your missionary website is important for periodic updates for your prayer supporters. But, maybe you use Twitter and Facebook far more frequently for some of those in between, just, life updates.
On today’s video tip, I’ll show you how you can let your website visitors know how to connect with you on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media.
To add the social media links to your Edify Hub website, you’ll need to upgrade your plan to the standard, or higher. If you’re not sure how to do that, go visit edifyhub.com/vt23, and there’ll be a video there showing you exactly how. Once you’ve done that, let’s log into your dashboard.
From the dashboard, go to your settings menu, and visit the Social Media section. Here, under the Social Media section, you see a bunch of different places for you to add your links.
So, let’s add the Twitter user name, in my case, EdifyHub. Then I’ll paste in my Facebook page URL, and my YouTube channel URL, and my Google+ page URL, and my Pinterest URL. I’m not going to put in a Linkedin Company URL.
When I’m done with all that, I’ll click save, and now, if I visit my website, here, along the right, I have a whole bunch of different icons that take me to those social media profiles. And, all the way on the right is the link for an RSS feed, which is a way that supporters can subscribe to your website updates without having to come back and visit your website to check to see if you’ve added anything.
So, by upgrading your Edify Hub website to the standard plan or higher, and by adding your social media links, supporters who visit your website can now connect with you on social media.
